How To Travel to Karpathos

BY CAR AND BOAT
To get to Karpathos by car takes some time. While by plane you can be on the island in 2-3 hours, by car it takes around 2 days.
By car to Athens + 1 ferry
If you are able to drive to Athens, you can take the ferry from Piraeus (the port of Athens) and in 13-20 hours you get of on Karpathos.
By car to Italy + 2 ferries
If the drive to Athens is too much, you can always drive to Italy, and get a ferry from Venice or Ancona. This ferry takes you to Patras, from there you need to drive to Athens (Piraeus port) and take a second ferry to Karpathos. This trip takes around 3 days.
